but almost certainly originating from the Limoges area of France

There is a flap applied onto either side that makes it appear that there are patch pockets

starting in 1940

The piece is made in a triangular form and features a quite intricate knotted pattern a large amount of work went into making this lovely shawl. I believe that these are of Spanish origin but were also made more recently in South America. Age: Difficult to date exactly theyve made these for many years, but given the complexity of the pattern, I think that this is an older example,
