The piece is in excellent estate condition, ready to wear. Some very minor plate loss at the seems. Only noticeable upon close inspection. The sugarloaf garnets are not real but paste stones. The three grey seed pearls ARE genuine. The only markings are "PATd. SEPT 16. 1873 " which is when the clasp was patented. The piece is adjustable and can be worn as large as a size
