Baptisia Cinnamon Candles 5b The unique clumpsBaptisia 'Cinnamon Candles' is a 2018 Plant Delights JLBG introduction of a 2007 seedling that includes genes from Baptisia sphaerocarpa, Baptisia minor, and Baptisia alba. Baptisia 'Cinnamon Candles' starts flowering for us in mid April, when the 50" tall spikes of bicolor chocolate and gold flowers emerge above the foliage. Our breeding focus has been on spikes that rise well above the foliage, and in our trials, the spikes top the foliage by 2'. We
