Mary Farrin established her South Molton street shop at the height of the British Boutique movement during the late 60s. This dress dates probably to the very early 70s, as it was made in England Farrin began to manufacture in Gozo, Malta, establishing a cottage trade there during the 1970s. By the 80s, production waned and the company closed in
