Emei (near Sichuan), where it was growing among rhododendrons and tiarellas. The foliage of Impatiens omeiana resembles a New Guinea impatiens dark, velvety green with a wide, whitish stripe down the center of the leaf. The yellow flowers, resembling shrunken goldfish, occur only in early fall. Impatiens omeiana is
