The group formed in 1986 playing a different style of aggressive music, but quickly settled into their own only a few years into their career when they released their debut album in 1988. Six years later, they were releasing their fifth album, For Victory. The album was again released by Earache and was also their last to feature drummer Andrew Whale, who was replaced after its release by Martin Kearns
