This jack assembly attaches to the instrument using the same two screws and screw holes through the instrument's trapeze style tailpiece. This jack assembly will work on gypsy jazz guitars that are fitted with a Selmer trapeze style tailpiece. As well, it will fit Archtop guitars with a standard trapeze
