The photo is in a cardboard folder and has a translucent paper overlay. Photos that are signed Notman & Son date from 1882 onwards when Williams son Willam McFarlane Notman partnered with his father the studio was taken over by a subsequent generation and closed in 1935. Im unsure of the date of this photo, but I would think 1920s 1930s era.
